If you work with laboratory equipment and/or test & measuring equipment and similar products covered by UL61010-1 and IEC 61010-1, you will add important, practical skills to your technical capabilities. This intensive technical training includes how to apply the "two levels of protection" concept, measuring creepage and clearance based on the voltages and materials involved, and selecting components of appropriate integrity for use in non-energy limiting circuits.
This workshop features additional topics including: The use of Amendments, Part 2 particular standards (e.g., for Probes and Centrifuges), the CB Scheme, and the benefits of using high integrity components. You will also learn about the National Differences contained in UL61010-1. You will also have the opportunity to participate in Practical Application Exercises in a cooperative team environment. An optional In-vitro Diagnostic Directive module will be provided after the main workshop concludes on the second day.
