The Commission of the European Union (EU) has an updated list of standards that can be used to demonstrate conformity with the essential requirements of its Directive 89/686/EEC concerning personal protective equipment. The extensive list of standards was published in the March 8th issue of the Official Journal, with a correction issued on March 29th. The new list of standards, as corrected, replaces all previously published standards lists for the directive. Our readers can view the complete list of standards at this link.
